Kudos to modsledr for a great time

We had a wonderful time riding GC yesterday with Brent, Brandy, Davey, Michelle, Marty and me. Everything was going great till snoboy figured he'd follow modsledr and CoyoteGirl up this hill. Well sucking as I do I veered left then right and stuffed an xmas tree which basically was keeping the sled on the hill. modsledr came clear back around the mountain walked down to me and together we were able to roll it loose and let er go. He tried to save it but the hill was just too steep and off she went. It clipped another xmas tree and broke the bumper BUT, BUT that chinsy azz polaris bumper actually did a good job of keeping anything else from gettin hurt. Anyways modsledr then took a Mt. Everest march back up to his sled You rock dude!
OK so we continued riding having a great time heading out toward Swan lake. All of the sudden papa bears sled just quit. Some basic checks were made and modsledr decided he would blast back to papa bear's truck and get another key. We all decided an hour there and an hour back. Modsledr was gone 45 minutes total. Dude you rock! OOps well that didn't fix it. So modsledr towed papa bear all the way back to the truck. We did stop at a good area where everbody could get their yayas out ( me and papa bear just BSd and got to know each other) and then we pressed on back to the rigs everyone safe and happy. Thanks again mod
I had a great time meeting and riding with super people. Hope to do it again. Modsledr next time I'm gonna go for beers and buy you dinner, promise.

I can only think of which way he took you into Swan Lake and it's wasn't via the Forest Service roads!!!!!!! I've stood at Swan Lake, looked kinda to the west and wondered if anyone has ever climbed that chute over there???
I've never seen any tracks up it, but I'm sure some have done it?

I can only think of which way he took you into Swan Lake and it's wasn't via the Forest Service roads!!!!!!! I've stood at Swan Lake, looked kinda to the west and wondered if anyone has ever climbed that chute over there???
I've never seen any tracks up it, but I'm sure some have done it?

Watched that climb done once---In 97 by a guy with a turbo'd 670 summit with a 136x2---WOW--it was awesome. Now chute 3--I have seen 3 sleds go out that one---But not by me--I am not that crazy

But I've watched Brent help more people out this year than I can count on BOTH of my hands. And if I really put some thought to it, I'd probably have to use my toes as well. Just a karma chasin' fool.

And he's kinda nice to me toooooooooooooo.

Bummer about the bumper, but man it's nice not to have to replace the bellypan, pipe, etc etc, eh?

Had a fun day. Wish Marty's sled wouldn't have decided it was done...... but what do ya do? Marty, ya snowcheck a new sled today?

Today was better............ yahoooo..... I'm beat..... time for nap... then I'll post pics.

What's up with Swan lake PB?????????

Great to hear you guys had a great time but too bad about the bumper Snoboy.............could have been worse. Way to go Modsldr for helping out when needed like that.

That is weird about Papabears sled dying back into Swan Lake. Last season 2zeros and I were going back into Swan Lake and ran into Papabear with a dead sled that died while he was heading back in there. He had to tow out and it did not start until he was almost to the truck. I think its time to get a different sled.................snocheck time is definately here.

wanted to add some more kudos

I wanted to add some more kudos. Thanx CG for the windshield dart. Check this out... I had ordered a flyshield and small windshield bag so I put them on yesterday and the dart you gave me was a little bigger so it found it's place in the center where the windshield bag gets fastened with the windshield. Some of the other darts were toast so the'll get replaced but yours will remain. Thanks
We were comparing survival equipment and Davey showed me his 2 road flares he keeps seal-a-mealed to use for fire starter. Dude that is the $hit and I'm doin it. Also the ointment pads. Thanx
