Ktm forks

Looking to get a spare set of forks to run on a 09 ktm xcw , does any one know what years are compatible ? And what models ?

Far as I can tell it's either 01-14 or 03-14 with all most any model

sx xc xcw exc 125-525 so on so forth

Looking for confirmation or some part numbers I can check with before picking up a used set.

You can get ANY pair of forks from a XC, XCW, EXC, or SX from 2003-current

There are different styles in there, but they are all the same clamp and axle size.

Same front caliper too.

I'd say for simplicty aim for a set of open chambers from a XCW, or EXC. They are the easiest to adjust and rebuild.

I would look for the newest set you can afford from a 450 sx. These will be the closed chamber featuring a stiffer more aggressive valve stack and the 450 comes with the stiffest springs stock. You may even find you like these better than the forks your bike comes with. Personally I find the 11 and newer closed chambers very good out of the box.
