KTM and Husaburg clutch slave cylinder 'O' rings have failed at an epidemic rate for years and KTM has not fixed this issue but the aftermarket has.
See the attached link for a replacement slave cylinder which I have bought and installed. It got good reviews on several web sites. Recluse also makes a similar cylinder.
My '07 KTM 300 XCW had 3 clutch 'O' ring failures in about 200 hours. At least 6 of my buddies have had similar hassles with KTM 300s, 450s,570s. That bike was a lemon and had more failures than my previous 11 Japanese bikes combined. I replaced it with a Gas Gas 300 EC. No failures of any kind in over 300hours.
On my '11 'Berg FE 570 I noticed that the clutch didn't completely disengage just before leaving the trail and dropping into a valley full of chest deep snow. Only good luck saved me from a very bad day!

Thanks for the post. I have a Rekluse on mine.. But I do feel when I try to engage the clutch sometimes manually she does not want to go. This might be the problem. My bike has also been hard to shift compared to my buddies Husaberg 570. In your opinion, would this slave cylinder help with that?
Thanks

My 300 also had some clutch issues. I rebuilt the master cylinder and have an o-ring for the slave but haven't put it in yet. My bike still crept in the cold on 15w50 so I switched to rotella T6 syn 5w40 diesel oil and no more creeping.

Check out Rekluse web site for instructions on adjustint the clutch and also their replacement slave cylinder which has an an adjustment screw built in.
