Flew into Colorado on Sun. night and when I woke up the next morning it had flat out dumped in Kremmling. We hit the hill after some breakfast and by the time we got up to park we realized that we were in for some sick dry powder. April 7th and the snow conditions were some of the best of the entire season, unreal pow! Chris is an amazing rider, dude loves the trees and gives a proper definition of term 'boondocker". The top of the mountain yielded some crazy deep. We came down some areas where the pow was running like a river in front of you. By far one of the most memorable experiences ever on a sled, not to mention we were on 09 M's. Crazy sleds and great company. If you start a little smack talk with Burandt he will feed you back pretty good. Dude absolutely killed me with some of the smack he threw at me. I found myself laughing throughout the 2 days. He threw some very technical lines that made wonder about his true sanity, I kept asking him where the hell he thought he was going on some of them.
The stay at the lodge was great and the food and company were 5 star in every way. I would highly suggest this to anyone who is looking for an unreal experience and one of the coolest adventures available on sleds. The lodge is a good size and would be comfortable with any size group.
A few pics from the trip...A few good stucks, and some crazy snow. Thanks Chris!!
