Koso- whats the deal here ?

Im in the process of installing a dual egt guage on my 800 HO and cant get it figured out , the probes dont tighten in , they just seem to float after I tighten the nut the probe still pulls out ??? just not making sense.

best i can figure is I have to tighten it down and compress the brass fitting in turn pinching the probe ???

Do you have the cone shaped washer in between the fitting and nut?

ya, i guess i wasnt tightening it down far enough, seemed pretty tight to me though, koso tech support said to tighten it down some more and it should hold.

The probe makers for both digatron and koso use the wrong type of furrel and nut and you gotta tighten them almost to the point of stripping the threads to get them to hold. Some never do, they may tighten and seem good but will be loose after a couple of heating and cooling cycles.
