Knowledge needed - I bought a 2006 700 RMK

She's Alive!!!

The engine is back in the sled, and started on the first pull! I did prime the fuel pump prior to starting it, but I was still pretty impressed. I bled the coolant system, and I'm pretty sure all is well. It seems to want to idle high, on the 3-4 times i've had it running it only idled down to 1500 once after goosing the throttle. Engine temps were around 120ish. Maybe a person has to get the RPMs above 4000 before it'll idle down?

I know its been stated in the forums that there is no adjustment as far as aligning the clutches on these early IQ chassis. I was wondering how much movement I could get by loosening the front crossmember bolts. Everything engine mount-wise has locktite on the threads, so if the amount of adjustment (if any) I'll get from loosening the crossmember is minimal, I probably won't worry about it. Thoughts?

i bet your TPS setting is off. thats why your idle if so high..

will it engage into reverse..if not..TPS setting for sure..

dont play with the alingment..you may cause an issue, they are non adjustable...either its good or its bad..

congrats on the build you have so far..
