She's Alive!!!
The engine is back in the sled, and started on the first pull! I did prime the fuel pump prior to starting it, but I was still pretty impressed. I bled the coolant system, and I'm pretty sure all is well. It seems to want to idle high, on the 3-4 times i've had it running it only idled down to 1500 once after goosing the throttle. Engine temps were around 120ish. Maybe a person has to get the RPMs above 4000 before it'll idle down?
I know its been stated in the forums that there is no adjustment as far as aligning the clutches on these early IQ chassis. I was wondering how much movement I could get by loosening the front crossmember bolts. Everything engine mount-wise has locktite on the threads, so if the amount of adjustment (if any) I'll get from loosening the crossmember is minimal, I probably won't worry about it. Thoughts?
