Ran good all day. Started it up next day, got a code 21, AF guage not reading correctly, fuel pressure @ 5lbs. 100 feet down road and g0t major bog.

Thought it was fuel pump, pipe sensor, knock sensor, bad ground, bad AF guage, bad oil pump. I went thru and soder and shrink wrapped all connections needed for installing the turbo. Still no fix - DAMN

After talking with Travis at OVS for 3 hours trouble shooting every possibility, he said to tighten the knock sensor just a little, went to tighten and it was already tight, but gave it a 1/4 turn pluged it back in and problem solved.

Thanks Travis, I will be riding tomorrow.

im haveing same problem on my boondocker turbo, 09 head 2010 sled,

ima have to try that and cross my fingers thats the problem

That would scare me, I wonder if there is a torque spec and how tight you have yours.

Thanks for the info.

Will this problem keep the sled from starting? Had the 21 code pop up yesterday so I shut my sled off. Never would start after that. Also could not get any fuel pressure.

I had an interesting thing happen today that might help somebody. The heat shield around the cooling bottle came loose and started rattling on the motor. This set off the det sensor.

Check for any loose metal that might rattle against the motor, the det sensor will pick it up and flash the code and may even shut the engine down.

That sound like the Fuel pump was going out or you where loosing power to it and it leaned out setting off the code and now nothing at all. I would check for power to the pump, then hook up a remote power source to the pump in reverse (in case something is stuck in it or what ever) and then hook the power up normal and see if you get pressure.

What year is your sled and what kit are you running?
