I have CTi Braces. Expensive, but you get what you pay for LOL. I use them for single track. I got mine here in Canada. I see your in Alberta. I used Hitec out of Lethbridge. They do fittings in Calgary twice a month. I had mine covered by my benefits plan. Around 3000.00 i believe. Worth every penny !
I have the Asterik and a new pair of CTI Ossur knee braces, the Asterik braces are good and I have been using them for many years on single track but my CTI are very confortable and light but are very expensive. The Asterik knee braces offer more knee cap protection than the CTI. The CTI are very easy to put on and stay in place better all day for me.
I am on my second set of astrix braces, been using them on mx/off road riding since 2005 and started using them sledding last year. on a bike I feel naked without them as they help me grip the frame so much. However all this talk of cti makes me want to look into them.
I wear a pair of EVS webs, carbon fiber love them alot new they are about $750.00. They are not custom made but fit very well for me. Use them for motocross and snowmobiling, I also wear a leatt neak brace with there chest protector.
After a discussion with my ortophedist he recommended that I bought the Thor Force knee braces. Cheap and the best knee braces under a 200 bucks. Works great and are very comfy.
