Kmod 37" A-arm kit review

I had a chance to put a few miles on the Kmod 37" front end kit on my wife's Pro RMK 660. I will start by saying the sled isn't stock, and I was running a Z-broz 39" front end with Fox Evol R's the past two seasons. Installation impressions: Packaged very well to prevent shipping damage, and kit is COMPLETE, with ball joints, bushings, etc. Nice touch. Welds look good, quick install.
I set the toe at 1/8" and rode the sled for a couple days in the BC backcountry - ride impressions: Very easy to maneuver, rides and handles great both in powder and on the trail. The 37" stance is far better then the 39" kit with no real trade-offs in stability. I reused the Evol R's for this kit, and the whole package complements the Kmod rear suspension upgrade that was installed last year, and perhaps something in the geometry change makes the front suspension (bear in mind using the same shocks) far more plush AND predictable. I personally would buy another set, they compliment the sled very well.

K-Mod 37" with Raptors

:wine:I also installed the K-Mod 37" A arms on my 2015 Polaris Pro 155" with Raptor shocks all around. I was able to have a nice breakin ride in the Big Horns Nov 26 -27. In the 98 miles I rode we had some decent powder to ride up in the Bald Mt. area and some along Hwy 14. I can report that this is the best handling Pro I have ever rode. ( My third Pro) Stability is just fine at high speeds in the ditch bumps and on the flat, the turning in powder is the easiest to control I've ever experienced. On my first turn out going down a powder face and cutting a 180 to go back up while on the slope I completed the turn just great. (this has always been my most difficult maneuver). I believe the combination of 37" A arms and the Raptor progressive springs are a perfect combination on a PRO. The Raptor progressive springs on the Polaris Clicker shocks is also very good. My riding partner has that combo and loves it too. A lot less money going with this combo especially if you got the Clickers on your new 2015 PRO.

I want to put a 37" front end on my 2015 rmk snow check with WE shocks. Will I need to shorten or space these shocks in order to make a 37" front work?

Lets see some photos peeps!!

I only have 80miles of flatland time on mine so not much to say other than it is tippy! lol.

I am riding in 3" of snow right now with no bottom, and today it is all melting :(

I trully do enjoy the plushness of the raptor shocks aswell.

Did a few jumps/drops and was very impressed. My bulged disc in my back didnt complain once!

MH- i think i already posted too many pics in my thread lol.

If you have the "bonded" A-arms that came on 13+ PRO-RMKs, then no. If you have the old style steel A-arms, then you would need the shorter shocks from the 13+ PRO-RMK that came with the bonded A-arms.

Would like to hear how much higher It lifts the sled up, I put a 36" on mine last year & and it raised it 2 1/2", which changes how the rear shocks function. The whole angle of the shocks change up front raising the front end up.

Thanks for the reviews.
FYI we offer a package discount of 150.00 for the 37'' front end and Raptor IFS shocks when ordered together.
And for those who already purchase the front end we will honor the discount when the shocks are ordered. We have the new liquid black in stock.
Think SNOW!!!!!

I too am enjoying the Kmod 37" IFS. I picked up a set new take-off WE needle shocks from a 2015 Pro-RMK and I'm using the Raptor TRS springs on them. They handle great on the trail to the good stuff and are phenomenal off the trail . This IFS absolutely works and looks great.

37 arms

Just curious if any of you have tried the 37" arms W/Out the sway bar vs With the sway bar connected? Not worried as much about handling characteristics on the trail as much as stability in the technical mountain riding aspects. Thx

love mine after a weekend in Togwotee. Noticeably better sidehills. Using them with Fox shocks and sway bar in. Have not tried yet with swaybar removed.

We tested with and without the sway bar, but only with Raptor shocks. With stock shocks we have only tested with the sway bar in.
With the Raptors the shock set up stayed very similar as with the stock front end, it was easier to pull into side hills and still handled on the trail very good.
I personally prefer it without the sway bar but that's just me.
Its very easy to try either way on the trail, just pack a hand full of zip ties with you, remove the lower sway bar bolt front the lower arm on both sides, then pivot the sway bar forward and zip tie it to the front bumper( both sides) . It will stay out of the way and not hit anything. You may have to preload the shocks a few turns depending on out much flex you want in the front end.
