Anybody have a tailor cut and sew some thumb holes? Not sure why the Valdez I ran before had the holes and the new stealth doesn't?

That definitely would void the warranty on the jacket if there was ever any issue with the sleeve or cuff area of the jacket. We would assume if a zipper broke or something else like that happened you would not have any issues, but Klim will not warranty products that have not been altered by them. It would be a 50/50 shot on who you get on the phone in the warranty department, and who inspects your jacket if they would notice the alteration if there was ever any issues.
the only thing it would affect is the lycra wrist collar.

Can the Stealth bib be worn as pants if you remove the upper bib portion?
Yes. They work great as pants. There are adjustment straps that work well keeping the pants at the right fit. There are even belt loops if you are into wearing a belt.
Thanks! I heard that they are kind of a slim fit, I will have to go try on a pair and see how I like them......I don't care for bibs
We wore them as pants last year and loved them that way! Way nicer to have the belt loops and side adjustment hand in hand. Much easier for the skinnier guys to wear a belt than to have to wear suspenders.
Tip for the Stealth bib/pant
When putting on the pant and zipping up the gator over your boot, make sure to connect the snap first. This makes it much easier to do-up the zipper. The Stealth is the first pant/bib that Klim has made with a zipper attachment instead of using Velcro. Some of the pre-production pants didn't include the snap and it was cumbersome to do up the zipper.

I talked to the warranty department about the alteration that you wish to do. She said that ask long as you do not change the GORE-TEX that warranty will still be valid. However the gaitor area that you are changing will no longer have a warranty. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you and have a great day!

I just want to point out that you should save that email, as it is not likely that you will speak with the same warranty person next time, and you will need proof of this conversation. Hope the new holes work out well for yoU!!
