Klim warranty

I'm finding my butt is getting wet in my 4 year old klim gear...I also hear if it dose not pass a wet test they will hand me a new pair.
What has been everyone's experience with klim warranty?

KLIM is an excellent company when it comes to warranty issues. We have sent many customers there way that have older gear etc that has started to peeter out. They do warranty things such as leaking, and issues with problems that could have been their fault during assembly. If it is ripped knees or obvious user inflicted issues, then that is where they draw the line for warranty, as it should be. But yes even if they are four years old they still will send ya a new pair, they just have to test them first, they wont just send out a new pair based on your word.

One thing you are gonna find out though, this late in the year is that if they warranty your pants, and they dont have your exact style they will either put you on a waiting list, or maybe offer you another version. And right now they are near sold out of everything in the pant department that wont be going discontinued or red-designed next year.

But a big thumbs up for sure for great service and warranty to our customers thus far!!

This is great news, I just noticed the other day one side in the seat area was leaking. Ran them through the wash as recommended and found an improvement but felt that clammy feeling again. Will send them in to see what they find. I own two sets of the pro shells and love them just hate the wet backside, thanks blower motor .

Klims warranty is amazing. I had a pair of there freeride pants that i have had for 4-5 years, that i ripped earlier this year. I dropped them off at my local dealership, and she said she would get them to klim to see if they could replace the panel that i ripped (expecting to pay for it).

She called me a week or so later with a brand new pair of pants! She said klim did a wet test on them and the seat of the pants didn't pass, so instead of paying to fix a old pair of pants, i got a brand new pair for free!

I also had a similar experience with there gloves once. I am having issues with my klim googles that i bought at the beginning of this season and i have no doubt they will take care of them. For this reason, i don't mind spending the extra $$$ for it!

Can't say enough about a company who stands behind there products like Klim, not many companies out there these days that you can say that about!

Klim warranty Rocks!!!

Well after all these years, I have finally had the opportunity to deal with Klim on a repair issue and I can't be happier!

A short while back I tore my coat that I have had for going on 6 years now on a tree. I called up Klim customer service (very pleasant and helpful) and described what happened and inquired about sending in the coat for a paid repair as I didn't consider this incident to be a matter of warranty, especially being the 6th season on this coat.

I got a call a few days after I sent the coat in and was informed that they were sending me a brand new replacement in the same style, size, and color!!!!! I was happy of course, but surprised as I expected to pay some money for a repair on my original garment. She explained that after examining just how and where the rip occurred, Klim determined that the coat ripped on a seam and they opted to send me a brand new replacement.

I was pretty shocked that they would do this for me considering the age of the coat (though in otherwise perfect condition) being a 2008 model.

So a HUGE THANKS to Klim for GREAT customer service

It just goes to prove that Klim IS the undisputed leader in Technical Riding Gear!

Had same issue. They sent me a new pair. Top shelve service IMO.

I have found the opposite, I had bibs that started to let moisture through in the thighs after a few years and when I sent them a message they had told me that the garment has out lived its life??? There were no tears or rips on the thighs at all and the seams were also letting go. I was very disappointed as I convicted a lot of my riding buddies to go that direction. I loved the gear was just very disappointed with there warranty department.

Sorry to hear that, I have not sent mine in yet but I'm hoping to receive a better response. I will be disappointed for sure after hearing all the good being said. I just don't want a wet a*#.
