Anybody lost a zipper off there Tog bibs? Have a pair of 09 tog bibs new this season been on 5 or 6 rides with them so far and love the heck outta them. Went riding on Wednesday and lost the bottom of the zipper on the right leg sometime during the day. they stayed closed all day but when I went to take them off there was no bottom zipper trolley just a closed zipper wth. I contacted my dealer and they said prolly take 2 weekes to get em fixed, dang thats like 6 rides. Oh well Guess we'll have to go back to the ducktaped 3 yr old bibs while I go through the warranty process:(

I had some issues with my bibs, tore seam and some other small issues. I sent them to Klim and they turned them around within a day(bibs out of service for 5 days with shipping). I am extremely impressed with their service! Top notch manufacture!!!

Same deal... had mine for 4 years and no problems. I've sent back stuff under warranty to Klim before, I shipped it over night and got it back by the end of the week. Call them for an RA number and get the ball rolling. :)

You would think with brand new bibs that they would send him a new pair with a return label. And let him send them back. Does'nt sound like that great of warranty service to me.

Nobody is going to send out new product and get used product back when it can be fixed easily.

Although Klim HAS done this before.

This is my first year riding with Klim Gear.
'09 Freeride pants, '09 Valdez parka.
I hope they live up to the hype.

I won't know until we get a bit more snow around my kneck of the woods.
They might still be brand new next year!

All I can say is if I payed $350 for a new pair of bibs and the zipper fell off on the 5 time I used them, I would excpect the Dealer or the manufacturer to take care of it. I hope they pay shipping both ways.

I just had an issue with mine to where I must have caught them on the handlebar end (that’s the only thing I can think of) and put a 3” x 3” L rip in the thigh. They only had 4 rides on them total. I can understand why they wouldn’t warranty them because it wasn’t on a seam, but I guess I expect a $350 pair of bibs to be a little more durable than that. Great stuff, but I might have to second-guess my next purchase if this keeps up.

I tore my extreme bibs on my running boards on a "reather unique" dismount.
Sent them in.
40 dollars for an entire new lower panel.
They may not have warrentied the tear (which I didn't expect them too), but they fixed em up and got em back for a great price.

Try that with anyone else.
When they say, not covered by warrenty, that means you buy a new pair.

Klim has the best warrenty in the buis.

I guess I didn't ask the right questions. Thanks for the heads up!

They have always been great to me. I ripped my gloves on the thumb on a screw sticking out. I sent them back in and they repaired them with a patch for free, just cost me the shipping. I also have a pair of Tog bibs that I bought from a friend that were 6 years old last summer. I felt I was getting wet this past year so I sent them in over the summer. I now have a brand new pair of 08 Tog bibs and all it cost me was the shipping to them. 6 years old and they sent me a new pair, they have paid for themselves twice for the cost I bought them for at the time versus what they cost now.

I had my zipper blowout on my bibs that where 2 years old. I got an ra and 2 weeks later i got my fixed bibs back. I was bummed they just replaced part of the zipper not the whole zipper. But yes the 2 week turnaround is what i found. That was this year.

100% agree. my previous klim togwotee bibs were 4 years old and began leaking but had no tears. I sent them in to Klim and in less than a week i had a brand new pair at home, no charge. I am still wearing the jacket that I got with the original bibs, going on 5 years with no leaks tears etc. Klim makes some good stuff and stands behind it.

I don't doubt Klim will take care of everything in a timely manner was just hopin it wouldn't take the 2 weeks like I'd heard. Guess we'll see
