Klim storm jacket

Anyone have some time wearing this jacket? I'm looking at the storm or the Valdez. Money is not the deciding factor. With the storm I like the very "light" feel to it, but in my mind I'm thinking it might be too light. The Valdez with the pro shell definitely stiffer and feels more durable, will this break in over time? my base layer is under armor cold gear, mid is Klim inferno. As both jackets are expensive I'm trying to make the best overall choice. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Bought one last year after having a powerxross pullover and a Tomahawk parka. Like it much better than those two as the venting is better placed. I wear a base layer, a jersey and a trek vest and stay plenty warm.

Been running the storm for couple seasons. Great coat with lots of venting. I just picked up a new Powdercross pullover as I felt the storm was "too much" coat for what I wanted most days. I like a really light outer layer most days with an extra layer on. Like others say you can always add a bit more layering if you get cold. I have used mine from -30* (MN) to 40* (WY) and been very happy with it the entire time. But I must say I have never worn the Valdez either and I know a few guys that love that coat too.

The Storm is very different constructed jacket from the Valdez. It has a slimmer fit to it in comparison to the Valdez and the design is lighter giving an extreme degree of mobility and flexibility. The Storm is designed more for the aggressive rider who is pushing themselves in the elements they ride for this reason we would recommend the Storm if you are riding on the West Coast. The lightweight design comes from new high tech materials and with the absence of a hanging liner it gives the jacket maximum breathability while reducing weight.
The Valdez is a more traditional jacket than the Storm. It fits a little looser. This Jacket features 500denier overlays in high impact areas to increase durability in areas like shoulders, upper arms, and elbows. Both of these Jackets feature 8 ports of ventilation, high durability, and Gore-Tex material. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask us!

Thanks for your thoughts guys, the valdez is a very nice coat but just felt a little restrictive and stiff to me in the arms. Looks like the storm is the way to go. Thanks again
