Klim Inversion glove vs PowerXross

what do you think is the warmer glove? im looking for a lightweight glove that will be warm enough for the Colorado high country? any input on these guys ?

Thanks !

i have the powerxross and they are amazing! i wear them in super cold and in warmer weather. i ride in montana. when its absolutley freezing balls, they are a bit to thin, but other than that they rock for boondocking and what not. highly reccomend them and i have yet to get wet....

I recently got the Klim glove (have several others, light and heavy) and really like them. So far 3 long days in pretty cold weather and no cold hands. Did get wet on the last ride but I did a lot of diggn'... I haven't tried the others so no opinion there but Klim build great gear although they are proud of it !! (ie. expensive !!)

Good luck.

The powercross will be warmer. I agree with the others, it is a great glove. It's a nice combination of a thin palm, waterproof, windproof, and moderately warm.

Klim Inversion vs Power Cross

I own both of these gloves, and can tell you for the most part I ride with the Inversion. The down side is they get wet pretty fast. With less than 10 rides on the Inversion gloves they started failing. I wore a hole in the fabric on my right hand thumb and some of the stiching started to come on done. I called Klim and explained the problem, they had me send them back to them and sent me a brand new pair. The few times I have worn the Power Cross gloves, I have been very happy with the performance, warm and dry.

I have both gloves also. They are great for their purposes. The Inversion does get wet fast if you get it in the snow. I use my grip warmers and can ride with it most of the day. More of a motocross glove. It is only windproof and not waterproof. The Powercross gloves are great. Gore-Tex and do not get wet inside (they will be wet on the outside though). They are a mild to medium warmth, so I keep a pair of "walking out" gloves for an emergency. They also have a natural grip feel to them which is nice. Biggest complaint about the Powercross is that they are hard to get on if you have a big hand. They have a velcro strip but the glove doesn't open enough in my opinion.

I roll the powerXross. On super cold days, I just bring a glove liner. Got some nice light wool ones at Fred Meyer for $1 that due the trick just fine. It was in the low twenties upper teens on last weeks ride and I didn't get a single cold finga.

I don't wear my Inversions on the snow unless it's a sunny spring day.

When I'm not driving with them on cold days, they are resting in the dash...nowhere else.
I use them for driving on cold days...and they aren't holding up very well at all.

i have 2 sets inversion gloves and powerxross gloves

the inversion is what i ride in 99% of the time. sometimes at the end of a deep powder day when the temp is getting down around 0 or negatives and my inversions are soaked i put on the powerxross glove for the trip out.

I always have to switch to my second pair (dry pair of inversions) about midway through the day.

I can wear the powerxross all day long and never change it, but it feels bulky and slippery and i like to have a good grip on the bars. also as someone mentioned they are extremely difficult to get on and off for the those with the larger hands...

also FYI when doing extreme stunts i pull out a pair of ultra thin motorcross racing gloves for ultimate grip and performance with the handlebars. I pack way to many freaking pairs of gloves... sheesh...

Are the inversions diff.fron the wind stoppers? Phatty I bet I pack more gloves than you. I may starve to death because I dont have room for food, butmy hands will be dry:D
