klim f4 helmet

Don't pay full retail for it. I bought one 4 weeks ago, brand new off the shelf for $263.

I love mine....keeps my head cool and it probably save my life this summer when I flipped my atv and it landed on my back and head....

I ended up with a collapsed lung and a bunch of broken ribs, and my face ended up with a big gash from the nose piece on the Klim helmet...

I know that just having a helmet on was the reason I'm alive and not that it was a Klim, but I would definately buy another one. They are light and well vented even if they have the DEVO thing going on!

Hey man, u can really dance, is there any truth to the rumor that your next performance will be too music from the Village People, with all that practicing when do u find time to ride?

Don't be bad mouthing the VP. They rock.

One of the VP posts on here all the time (the biker dude , I think) I forget his user name but some of his recent work can be seen on this video:

thinking of buying a klim f4 helmet, anyone have any advice on buying or not buying ,would any feed back u might have.

I really dig mine, but I wish I would have bought the 3X I think.

They fit a little differently than other helmets, they're tight putting them on ... but once on they fit great. Just make sure you try two sizes on and kinda shake your head a little to make sure you get the one that fits perfectly before you buy.

Also, they take some pretty big goggles to fill the face up. I tried the 509's on them and was left frozen, so I bought some Scott Turbo 89Xi's and those work perfectly with the F4.

Rode all last season with it and never got wet once, so don't believe the people who are claiming you get soaked in them.

They are a narrow fitting helmet very similar to a Fox V3. Due to the venting system, they sit high on your head. Overall, I really like mine. It definitely vents and performs as advertised. I have many many miles on mine. Woods riding, supermoto, and of course snowmobiling. Very comfortable for me. Try them on though, they aren't for everyone.
