KLIM is looking to motivate you to inspect and practice deploying your avalanche equipment while riding this season and in partnership with SLED Chile, is giving away an all-expense-paid riding trip to Chile! KLIM Backcountry Team athletes Dan Adams and Matt Entz are the best because they practice. In fact, they can be “search ready” in under 30 seconds.
How fast can you be search ready?
KLIM wants you to show them by making a video of you practicing doing the following:
Remove from your bag and assemble your shovel and probe followed by properly switching your functional transceiver into Search mode. Since it’s important to inspect and check proper avalanche bag function, you need to pull the handle on your bag and practice deploying your bag as well. Then, post your video to social media (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok or Vimeo) and upload your link to this page.
Each participant will need to like, share and comment/nominate three other potential participants.
Winners will be announced on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at the 45th Annual Snowmobile Hill Climb in Jackson, Wy.
The grand prize is an all-expense-paid trip for the winner and one guest to ride snowmobiles or snowbikes in Chile in July 2023 with Dan Adams from Nxt Lvl Riding Clinics, Matt Entz from Mountain Skillz and KLIM’s Snow Athlete Manager, Dustin Pancheri. The winner and guest will also receive an all-new riding outfit for the trip.
