KK airbox mod

So I am just starting my preseason maintenance on my 04 Kingcat and have the air box out on the bench. what should I do for an airbox mod? Drill holes in the white deck plate? Remove the air horns? neither? Pull out all the junk?

BTW, one of my air horns was rotated pretty far from being aligned, probably robbing some HPs.

hey fomoco how many jets do you think i need to jump on a stock kk if i do the mod

just the shelf 1-2 if you open the top with a snorkel to the speed O hole 2-4 jet sizes.
