There was a quick news item Friday showing two yahoos talking about the risks of riding sleds while there are high Avalanche warnings. They were riding in a "ski Resort".

Yea, that was me and Swartzcoff. Took him and another newbie for a ride out of Stevens Nordic center friday. Very small area, but it was a good place to take newbies. They got to work on some skills and were quite sunburned. Swartzcoff was riding my kids sled and is happy to report that it can roll 18-20 times down the hill with no damage. The windshield would have been trashed but he has not replaced it from his wreck a week ago.. Got to love taking ne people out in hero snow that is unforgiving!! KIRO guy was actually cool and said he loves sleds and rode them all the time in Minnesota.
