king cat tunnel bolt

I see a lot of people say that they have "moved the tunnel bolt" on a king cat. Are you talking about the front mount or the rear? I'm new to the king's and I dont have anyone around me with a king to ask.

I would guess they are talking about the front arms on the skid. You really cant move the back without drop brackets of some kind. If you look on the inside of the tunnel where the front arms are the is a reinforcing plate. That plate has something like 6 holes punched in it. only 1 set of them are drilled form the factory but you can drill out any of them and then move the front of the skid around. up and down is easy. If you are going to go forward or backward you have to move the back of the skid also. You need drop bracket to do that.
moving up = more ski pressure / less weight transfer
moving down = less ski pressure / more weight transfer
You can get the same results from the limiter straps.

It is the bolt by where you put your feet. I have mine moved to the second hole and it is so much easier to ride. If you have anymore questions about it feel free to ask
