King Cat secondary spring

Hey guys, I bought a new red/white spring from Babbit's online to replace the stock secondary spring, just as preventative maintenance. When the spring showed up, the whole spring was/is coated in red and has a white dot on it. The stock spring as you know is silver with a red and white dot. The 'new' spring appears a tiny bit thinner in diameter as well. Did I mess something up here?

Any help is appreciated!

Stock King Cat uses a titanium spring, replacement is probably regular steel.

your good. Your stock spring is titanium, the new one is steel. You can get a new Ti spring if you want to spend 130 for a spring. The steel spring works just as good or better. It does have a little higher finish rate then the Ti spring.
