King Cat or M10??

Currently I am riding an 05 King Cat with a few goodies that runs great, but we just got back from out west and i rode a few of the other sleds that were with. HCR 800 and a Dragon 800 and that newer body style is kinda nice, dont know if i am completely sold on it but there were somethings that i liked. So the question is should i keep tearing it up with my king cat or would I be really really happy if i bought a M10?

thanks

If you can swing an '09 or '10 M10, no question, it is a much better machine. The bugs are resolved by '09 and they run hard. You get a Powerclaw track, best in the buisness right now. You get a stock 2 wheel set up in back, with a much lighter skid than before. They come with boards you dont have to cut up, and the tunnel is cut back in the rear for better sidehilling and powder performance. SLP now has a plug and play box for running their single pipe, no more screwing with a boondocker. The pipe and can give you 192 hp.

Besides, the new chassis is just sooooo much nicer to ride.

I just went from an 04 King Cat with 999 big bore kit, to a 2010 M8 and I'm extremely happy. I considered the M1 but went with the M8 due to less weight and the increase in horsepower this year. I thought I'd miss the torque....but I don't...at least not yet. Having too much fun!

We have a king cat for a back up sled and i rode it yesterday with my dads and bros m1000 it wasnt even fun to ride:( It feels like it has half the power the 10s do and is harder to side hill and just feels akward after betting used to the ms. Granet the 10s are not stock but still. Just my .02

I made the leap from an 05 King Cat to an 08 M1000 last spring. Had to put some lighten up items on it, but the only time I think about the King Cat is when my monthly payment comes in the mail. The King Cat was a great sled, but not in the same category as an M1000 if you have a powerclaw track.

you can ride a m twice as fast down a rough trail than a king cat

without beating the hell out of you, though the kings were great in their day!
the m is sooo much better!
