Broke off kill switch last year, got new one and put on. When hook plugs together will not run right. When unhooked like nothing wrong. Any suggestions as to what it could be?

It is the throttle postion kill switch. It is the middle wire on the plug. You need to clean it in the handle bar part or cut it in the clear and hook up a tether cord.
