King Cat Heated Carbs Issue

I bought a 2005 KK late last year and added alot of new aftermarket products, Power Claw, SLP Single, Reeds and more, after installing all items the sled would only run on one cylinder, I thought the worse, but after compression check (ok) I pulled the carbs off and seen the pilot jet in the tube out of the bottom of the carb, long story short the coolant lines through the carbs are a pain in the butt, I never had problems with my 2003 9001M Mod carbs freezing, has anyone just bypassed the carbs with the coolant line, it would be really a pain in the mountains working on the carbs with the setup of coolant lines, any feed back would be appreciated, thanks MADDOGWFO

Have bypassed the heater system on several 04 & 05 900's. no issues...just do it.

Also you don't need to bypass, just block both ends. The 03's used the right side (from the water pump) as a drain...just had a plug in from the factory. You can tap the manifold end and screw a plug in it or tap and JB weld.

I have plugged mine off. I had the little red on off valve come apart on the mountain one day and damn near leave me stranded. After that i junked the hole setup. no issues since then.
