With all the bull crap that we take from skiers I thought mabey they played it safe in the back country!
I was sitting in my basement last night drink a beer watching T.V. when I came across a show on the RUSH channel called "Alaskan Peak Hunting". It started out with interview and introductions to the skiers. The next scene is 3 or 4 guys standing at the top of a peak talking about snow conditions and how they were nervous about the snow pack. 1st skier starts his run.....5 seconds into it he causes a huge avalanche. He got out. 2nd guy goes Right beside the 1st guys line....avalanche. Got out safe. 3rd guy is standing at the top saying to himself " i'm scared" and he still goes right beside the 2nd guys line....avalanche.
The next scene is them all pretty much laughing about it!!! WTF? Check it out if you guys get the RUSH channel.
