Kimberly Idaho grass drags

Magic Valley Snowmobile Club is once again proud to present Grass Drags. Saturday November 1st 2008 at K N Turf Farm. Location is going to be 1.5 miles south of Hansen Idaho 83334 at 3528 North 3800 east You can Google a map of Kimberly. The registration on Saturday November 1st will start at 7:00am-8:30am, Racing will begin at 9:30am. Drivers meeting at 9 am.The race site will be at K N Turf Farm.http://www.magicvalleysnowmobileclub.com/





1. Entry Fee:

a. LIMITED 175 ENTRIES TOTAL

b. For Adults $35.00 per class (*Non-refundable* No limit on classes entered)

c. Juniors: $15.00 per class. (*Non-refundable* No limit on classes entered)
NEED MINIMUM OF 5 SLEDS PER CLASS * MAY BE MOVED TO OTHER CLASS OR CANCELED

2. All racers, pit crew and spectators must sign release form.

3. Each racer is allowed 1 pit person at the starting line.

4. ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS IN PITS DURING EVENT.

5. Drivers are required to have helmet, eye protection, long pants (no shorts) and chest protector recommended.

6. Snowmobile must pass a safety inspection, have full working brakes, proper belt/clutch guard, minimum 4” long snow flap, Only Open Mod must have tether switch and cord attached to driver whenever machine is running.

7. All track lengths and paddle heights are legal. After market traction products are not allowed this year in any class! NO TRACTION DEVICES.

8. All machines are to be warmed up on shielded track stands only.

9. Speed limit in pits is 5 mph.

10. STOCK CLASS:

Stock machines are to be Manufactures Stock; no modifications EXPECT those listed as followed:



a. Maximum clutch engagement is 5,500 RPM.
b. Drive and driven clutches must be OEM.
c. Air Box must remain OEM and in place.
d. You may change chain case gearing, must use OEM parts.
e. No after market traction products allowed on tracks.
f. No cool down units, hose quick disconnects allowed on stock class.

11. Trail Mod Class:

a. Must have stock bulkhead, belly pan, must run with hood (can be lightweight after market).

b. Engine must remain same CC displacement as manufactured originally.

c. Cylinder heads exhaust systems, reed valves, air boxes, clutches and tunnels are allowed.

d: Engine must be naturally aspirated. Trail porting on cylinders is allowed.

e. Lightweight front suspensions and skis are allowed, M-10 and HRP rear suspensions allowed.

f. TRACTION PRODUCTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THIS CLASS.

g. Cool down units and quick disconnects allowed.

h. CARBURETORS MUST REMAIN STOCK BORE.

12. Open Mod Class:

After market traction devices are not allowed this year due to SOD damage.

13. Magic Valley Snowmobile Club reserves the right to change or alter above conditions at any time.
