KILLER 2nd ride in the books! VIDEO EDIT

Its definitely a little hairy, but if you ride smart its not bad. Just cant ride and carve likes its mid season.

Suprised the forest service didn't chase ya down

Why would they? Its a legal riding area and there were tons of other vehicles w/sleds lined up right on the highway right in sight. If it was a problem or illegal, I feel like we would have heard something about it or received a ticket or warning. Or do you know something we don't and would like to share? Its never my intention to make waves or ride illegally, knowledge is power so share what you know buddy.

I don't have facts on your area. Here the rule is six inches of base minimum. If the fuzz sees you out on less there's going to be legal problems.
Posting this vid gives the greenies ammo. Video proof of snowmobiles destroying the Earth as they would probably claim.
Looks like you had a good amount for a road ride which is great.
Thanks for the thumbs down n16ht5

There was definitely far more than 6" but I appreciate the heads up, I'll call the local forest service to get the facts just so no waves are made. I try to be a good advocate for the sport and always slow down and wave to the "greenies" and many times share a positive conversation with them, but the facts are that no matter what, they will always complain and have some kind of ammo, so the more people we can get expose to the sport of sledding and get them into the sport, the stronger our voice and influence will be.

Yes I saw you had more than six, but it looks to be on top of no base. That's the problem. Any time you are burning down to the dirt more than your burning down to the base one should probably stick to the road, or at least resist taking video of digging dirt

bet there is a lot more than you had last time you went out now as it is dumping snow and the rain we had on sunday afternoon should have created that important base, lookin good on weather forcast above 4,000 ft figure I will do my 2nd and 3rd runs this coming week.

Your point has been heard.

However odd that you can't mention one positive thing about the time, energy and effort it took making what a lot see as a cool fun video that gets a lot of people excited to ride and also helps bring more people into the sport.

When you start living your life worrying about what the greenies would think they have already won...

Gonna sling a lil Poo here, I see your from Rancester which probably means you spend your time in the Horns... theres a good chance you are burning to the ground all year round.

I would really like to see all the damage we do after the snow is gonna. Its not there. Greenies have already done more damage with their hiking trails and rock piles than we will ever do.

I dont think its fair to rag on the guy for posting a video of him not doing anything wrong. Lets worry about loud cans first :)
