Kill switch wiring idea/questions

SO as most of you know or have seen, i have gotten the RX1 motor into my doo chassis and now it runs, i have the DESS key/killcord off the DOO and it has 3 wires going in, two of them act like a circuit, so when its pulled off, the sled dies. is there any way I could use the DOO kill cord and wire it into like a main power line on the sled to kill power and shut the thing down?

Only issue I see is it isnt like a buttom style cat kill cord, the electricity actually has to run into the cap and then back out, so I dont want main power, just a kinda line that trips the sled off, any thoughts or ideas would be great.

someone correct me if im wrong but i dont think you can use the doo dess key because its digitally encoded with a microchip in the cap itself. has to be synced up to the ecu on the doo. can be programed by the dealer but you cant bypass these and wire past the tether on the doo. i suggest getting a pingel tether or a cat normally closed tether. cats tether opens the circuit when pulled off most other 2 stroke tethers close the circuit to ground when pulled killing the engine.

if the dess key does not have the micro chip or w/e it is. to do what ur talkin about dooin it u need to have a relay on the main power then ur tether hooked up to that relay. also would wiring it into the key electrical lines be a possibility? if that was feasable that saves u alot of hassle of wiring in a relay in the main power.

after i finally used my brain and figured out how I would have to wire it in, its going to get a cat switch, it is not much more $$ then all the wiring parts and relay would cost, and then i know it will work! and less wires laying around!

thanks for the help though.
