I am searching for any help that might be out there. I have 2 boys one 6 and one 10. My 6 year old is always getting cold hands. Are there any really good gloves or mittens that are out there. I have tried burton mittens and they where ok for the 1st year. Fxr gloves and mittens, and his hands got cold fast. Skidoo mittens are warm but their water proofing leaves a lot of room for improvement. I am currently going to try some electric Sierus gloves and see how the work this season. Liners in mittens have worked ok. I have spent a small fortune on hand warmers as well. Any advice would be helpful.

Do you have an IFA around.?
They have some of the best leather chopper mittens around. The neat thing is that the liners have individual fingers for liners.
Gloves are excellent too prices are not that bad either.
They are leather so pick up some mink oil or nix wix and treat.

For small kids mitten style are the way to go - small fingers tend to get colder in gloves. Three girls all had same experience - don't cheap out on the kids mittens as they will be happier if warm & toasty and will be able to ride a little longer. Once they are handling their own machine gloves with heated grips work great.
Make sure to get the longest cuff length you can find & that the jacket arm length is long enough that their wrists aren't exposed when they stretch.
