i plan on putting a turbo on my sled. I can not find anything for kits/parts yet. Its torn apart for crank seals and she needs pistons because my stupid butt broke the skirts moving it around with the jugs off. :face-icon-small-sad I have no idea how. cross hatching is still seen in the sleeves, but anyways, reading on here about the XP guys and piston selection. I heard that the SPI pistons create a lower compression for some people. like 130 psi, while Wiseco kits made around 150+ psi. What would you guys recommend for pistons in a turbo application? it is still std 78mm bore. Also the carbs, what do i need to find to run my carbs with the turbo? Im looking at a series 53 aerocharger. Run about 7-10 psi and no intercooler for a cleaner install in my polaris chassis. elevation is 6000-10k feet

SPI's are fine. Most people only run them a season and change them out before they break. MXZ heads work good for lowering the compression. Seems like the HO's have a hotter ignition curve, so older electronics would be more ideal if being used. 38mm round slide Mikuni's seemed to work good, although an adapter for the smaller body carb is needed. A PTO seal retainer will be needed, as they are known to push the seal out.
