keying alike

I have an 010 XP and two 04 Revs that I would like to key alike with the tether key. I talked with a dealer today and they where not sure if the XP could be keyed the same as the Revs. I would also like to buy an extra key, i.e. tether, and have it keyed the same as a spare. Can someone weigh in on this, thanks rickster.

Same, same , same, The code is in the key, the dealer programs the ecu to recognize the code in the key. DESS is DESS, You can program a watercraft DESS key to work on a sled. Same technology. If the dealer says he can't, its because he doesnt want to mess with it.
