just got back from d lake, rode kelsey yesterday, conditions were the best of the year. there was a good foot of new powder, and very light and dry on the north faces and shaded bowls. snow is pretty thin until you get up on top, then there was good coverage, you could boondock just about anywhere. the lower part of the burn was pretty set up, but up top there was some nice powder, anything above 6000 ft was good riding. as a bonus we met drew bledsoe (the quarterback) in the d lake lounge, he was up cat skiing for the day
