Thank you for posting this. It confirms some things that I've thought and makes me feel better about supporting causes that I have been. I've allways wonder how much those big "charities" spend on advertising and how much there crooked CEO's profit. I remember hearing years ago that legally a charity only had to give $0.10 for every $1 they brought in. Salvation army and the ronald mcdonald house have been the ones that I try help support.

Couple charities and religious agencies were collecting in front of a food place while people laying 50 feet away in the grass while it is raining. Probably mentally ill.

Any way went in and ate walked out made eye contact with the 3 peple asking for money ... told them I would help.

Walked over to the guy layng in the grass asked him if he had eatin today ... said no so I went back inside bought burgers and went back out and handed it to the grungy, shoeless , teeth rotted , holes in his cloths and down right smelly guys.

Then lookled and and not one charity would make eye contact. In fact they physically turned their back on me.

I'm not so sure about the Salvation Army either, a few years ago there was a huge stink because they spent between $250-$400,000 to build a house up in the trees down by Rapid City for their big grand poo-bah leader or whatever his title is. I guess I don't mind giving used stuff but as far as giving money forget it.
