I have a 2004 summit rev, its the sport model without the dpm. Ever since I put an SLP head on it, it keeps fouling the plug on the pto side. I have changed the jetting and still does it. It did not do this until I put the head on it from Starting Line Products, has anyone else ever heard of this. Thanks,

slp head on rotax

I just put the slp performance pkg. on my 05 rev and 30 miles of easy riding im only running on 1 cylinder. probably not a coincidence, aye? I haven't taken it to the shop yet but im thinking i have the wrong domes in it.

Well I fouled a couple of plugs with it last year and then just this weekend fouled about 6 plugs. I think it is the head, I sure wish I had my stock head to put back on and try, I sold it last year.

Might be something else. You said it fouled a few plugs last year ( stock sled very uncommon ) probable not the new head at all, check your intake boots between the carbs and the engine to see if they are cracking or the rubber on them is lifting or peeling,if so problem solved ( replace ). hope this helps...

Ya let me know, I have tried everything and have come to the conclusion that it is probably the head. Ya know of anyone with a stock head for sale for a 2004 summit rev 800ho. thanks

if you have ripped boots you would have super lean and melted pistons. iknow due to a ****ty experience. check your boots anyway becuae it is a fairly comon problem to be aware of.

Put the stock head back on and try it then... :D

I am going to put the stock head on and try it, I dont think its the head though. All I know is it started doing after the slp head. I am going to get a new plug wire also.

I got to thinking, I wonder if the needle and seat is bad. I am going to take the needle and seat out of my other rev and try it this weekend. I would buy a new one from skidoo but they are over $100 for the hole set up.
