Kawi fork setup

Anyone care to share what springs etc etc they are running in their bike?

I’ve got showa’s out of a 13 250F I’m pretty sure.

Tks

I weigh a lot...270ish usually. On the Showa's in my CR500 in a 250X frame I run one rate, In the forks on my cr500 steel framed sand bike I run a slightly different rate and in my snowbike (CR500 as well) I ride a custom wound set of springs that are the stiffest springs I have ever felt. Is this just for your snowbike? and how much you weigh and what bike they are on makes a difference...Is it a 250F snowbike?

If the forks are from a 2013 kx250f then they will be a single function fork (SFF), so they will have only one spring and it’s in the right side. Stock spring will be approx. 0.96kg which is the same as set of .48’s in a older set of spring forks. At 175lbs on any snowbike I would go with 0.60’s so a 1.20kg for those forks. Spring fitment could be pretty tight though, I have those same forks on my 2016 kx450f but haven’t used the bike for snowbiking so I didn’t try installing the 1.20kg yet.
