the jaws pipes seem to work good so far, have not had it out for more then 10 min but it pulls hard so i think they will work good and they sound good to

I believe terra alps has the jaws twin pipes out for the 860 already. The jaws twin pipes for the 800 are not out yet as far as I know.
Twin pipes for the 800r motor do not provide any real benefit unless you have porting and very high RPMs.
no he's right you need your cylinder's ported and clutching and jeting done.
well i'm slapping on a set of crankshops with an SLP head tonight.. also rejetting and running some C111 and throwing some thundershifts on with a bunch of weight ... but I'm not porting the cyls, so I hope that combo brings me some good hp numbers..

i find it very hard to believe that jaws is going to make a set of twins for the XP that require porting to get any real power increases from. The stock Doo pipe is SO good that twins won't help!? Ya right. An individual pipe per cylinder can always be built to make more power than a single - FACT.
I'm not saying i like messing around with twins but come on...

Many have claimed 12 hp on just a set of pipes, That I think has yet to be seen.

Jaws was claiming 19 hp last year-but we have yet to see the product. The Twins that Terra Alps has for the 860 are NOT Jaws. He made that clear in another thread. Maybe somebody can make a set of twins that work for the Rotax with out removing your hood

You could look at it the other way also. Poo and Cat need to step up and make a stock pipe to the engines full potential..they must be in bed with the aftermarket companies
