Twin pipes for the 800r motor do not provide any real benefit unless you have porting and very high RPMs.
i find it very hard to believe that jaws is going to make a set of twins for the XP that require porting to get any real power increases from. The stock Doo pipe is SO good that twins won't help!? Ya right. An individual pipe per cylinder can always be built to make more power than a single - FACT.
I'm not saying i like messing around with twins but come on...
Jaws was claiming 19 hp last year-but we have yet to see the product. The Twins that Terra Alps has for the 860 are NOT Jaws. He made that clear in another thread. Maybe somebody can make a set of twins that work for the Rotax with out removing your hood![]()
You could look at it the other way also. Poo and Cat need to step up and make a stock pipe to the engines full potential..they must be in bed with the aftermarket companies![]()
