Just planning our IP trip, I'm stoked !!!!!

I know I'm a bit too old to get the jitters, but I still do. Hard rock helps. There will be a lot of us Northern MN boys comming in early Feb. Please don't burn up all the snow like last year. LOL.....Maybe IP is getting too busy. Last year it was hard to find untracked and avy danger was high. We saw the recovery on Mt Jeff.
We have a wide spred of ages, from me, 60 to the hotdogger twenty year olds. I'm riding stock M-8 and lending my Mod 1000 King to a thirty year old crazy. Look for the MN boys at Lakesides, watch out for the bar stools. We don't mean to hurt anybody.

It's going to be a great time Owen! Picked up my dad's new M8 a few weeks ago and he already loves it! Planning on bringing my SkiDoo down to see Big John for a possible tune-up here in the next couple of weeks and I'll be ready to go. Like you said hopefully we have some good snow out there this year, should be awesome!

Telling him to get the Doos to beat Owen hasn't worked.
Year after year those Montana boys been trying, and came up short. It sure cuts the cost of the trip to have my steaks and beer bought for me though.
Now maybe I can get you Joe to buy the drinks.

Ps. watch out for this JD guy, he's got the bad set up. His sled says 700, but I'm telling ya...stay away from him. I think Dave knows. He'll lay back with the XP.

Joe does well, but he wants to run hard pack when I run the powder. So watch him too.

Well obviously he might let me sit on it a few times, but let me tell you, every night I talk to him he's been out in the garage practicing carving on the cement! He is going to be in a different world out there this year on that sled!

That's not saying he won't let me take a few runs up the hill on it though....

Owen, BJ isn't doing anything major to the ski-doo either, just a little tune-up....................................

Hey Guys,

Brian and I are pretty excited too. I've pulled our sleds out from the back corner of the shop and have them in ready standby. Unfortunately for Brian's, it will have to wait until February. Mine will be out much sooner than that .

Am I correct that Dave is lining up the cabin? How's that coming?

We all have gear and have been trained in avy. rescue and awareness. Most of us have been to many neat areas. Yes, we have a couple of new guys and that's going to be fun to show them the sites.
