Just moved to Colorado Springs

I just moved to Colorado Springs and debating to leave my sled in Idaho Falls or bring it down here. I would like to know the closest places to ride and how early the riding starts. Oh and any pics would be awsome:face-icon-small-coo

you will need a sled

couple hours in any direction(except east) and you are in as good as it gets

Welcome to the Springs.... I am originally from Boise.... You will need, and want your sled. We have some awsome riding out here.... When the season gets rollin, PM me and we'll go tear it up..... As others have said - 2 hrs in any direction... Try to make it our forum ride in Feb.

You are definetely going to want your sled. I do disagree a little on the two hour thing. I lived in the Springs for 6 years and its more like 3 -3.5 hours to get to anything worth riding. That of course depends a little on exactly where you live in the Springs but 2 hours is a bit of wishfull thinking. There is a good group of guys in the springs that belong to the local snowmobile club - you might want to check it out.

Cottonwood Pass=2hrs

OK three hours if you drive like grandpa there....anyway lots of different locations. You could ride somewhere different every weekend and never see the same spots.

Usually starts by thanksgiving and lasts till at least end of april and beyond.....
