just got back from vacation

Went down to lake havasu city in AZ and had a blast. then stopped by the grand canyon for the first time, and it was amazing. We ended up driving from seattle through california then back up through AZ, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Oregon then home.

Salt lake city and surrounding areas though.... we drove through at night and i was still blown away from how big that place is. Everyone hiring, huge buildings, and what looks to be lots of money. And a huge mountain of salt, or sand... whats that about? I'd imagine its a big area cause of Mormons and their family size, almost like a forced economy.. who lives there? What good can you tell me about the area, and the bad? Was thinking of relocating to either AZ, Colorado, Or Utah.

I go there about once a quarter for work, seems pretty decent. I have a close friend that is a army recruiter and he loves it out there. His only problem was his daughter did not make friends because they are not morman so he sent his daughter to live with her mom(they are divorced). Plenty to do in SLC but a crap load of people at all hours and it does seem a little expensive to live and eat but it is a major city. A guy would be pretty close to some good riding though.....

Wait....you were in havasu for spring break? I think you may have a few stories to tell! Or pictures to share!

I really dont wanna be too inappropriate.. i'll show the most innocent ones, and you can imagine for yourself what most of lake havasu spring break is like haha . Met some really neat people though! :)

I see... Well if thats how they operate then we definitely dont need a Mormon as president... ;)

the riding would be attractive.. colorado seems like a nice place as well. Decisions decisions.

Awesome. Im flying there in june to check things out. Ive got quite a few friends over there so if i end up moving i wont be too lonely right away. I work full time and run a business part time. The biggest challenge would be to convert to the business full time at the same time as the move and make the money needed for housing, sledding, and food. gotta have it all!
