Okay, so I have just recently purchased a custom 09 M8 http://valleymotosport.com/valleymotosport-kelowna/used-vehicles/-/details?id=23 for a rediculously low price. Its going to be getting the 2012 M800 Proclimb engine and skid. What year of flash is going to work best with this sled? I plan on putting a Bikeman or MBRP can, but was wondering what other mods can be done without a fuel controller, pipe, head, etc. Im new to Arctic Cats as I have recently come over from Polaris.. Thanks.

P.S. hood will be for sale as it is WAAAYYY too nice and too much time was put into it. Plan on putting an OEM black hood on with the same venting, one that I wont mind a scratch or two on it. PM me if your interested.
It is but has the new 2012 engine in it, and am wanting to put aftermarket head and pipe on it. But may need a fuel controller if need be.
With this 2012 skid, can I still perform the Geo mod? Or with the new skid is the Geo mod needed?
They haven't installed it yet, I'm not sure how it will work actually. But I'm getting the boys at CR Racing to give the sled a good look fer and check all of the work done. Verify if the mof will work etc. If anyone will know it will be them, but I'm going to call VMS when they open tomorrow and see what they plan on doing.
If you get the 2010 flash... you can put a pipe and manifold on without a fuel controller.... I don't have first hand experience with that though. That's just what bikeman claims.

Yeah it is pretty sweet, dont plan on riding it untill next year. Gonna spend the summer getting it ready for the deadliest year of sledding I have ever had. Way pumped, but am now concerned as to how the 12' skid is going to fit under the chassis.
The 12 skid should be installed just like it is on the 12, make sure its right. Then there is a small mod you can do, ask geo.
