Things on my list so far are: Ole's riser, snow eliminators or some sort, and side vents. What are the best snow eliminators for 08-10 M series running boards? (Don't try to talk me out of them, my 08 boards got clogged up all the time.) Also, what kind of side vents seem to work the best? I had some really nice CNC'd vents on my M1000, but I don't know what kind they were... shoulda kept them!

I like the boondocker gill vents, but that's only if go through the tree's very much or the 2cool air vents are good looking if you don't hit very many trees.

Vents

Mo-Flow vents are really nice and reasonably priced. The optional powder pre-filter is pretty cool also

I had no snow's on my old sled and I thought I wouldn't need any with the new sled but like you said they still clog up with snow quite a bit so I'm going to try the f-bomb better boards (they look to have the biggest holes) and i forgot, cut the snow flap off, oil tank insert, and geo rear skid mount setup

Do the WRP boards. I can sell them to you through rockymountainsnowmobile.com. They keep all the snow out, strong powder coating and also helps keep the snow off of the board. Also great support

BDX anit-slob steering post kit.

BDX shift assist.

Remove the 2 idler wheels located in the middle of the rear skid. THey do not have the crossbar going from wheel to wheel. If you hit something with those wheels, they will bend the rails.

Front lower A-arm dog bones. These can be found on the 2008 M8's. They are around $5.

2010's had some issues with the primary springs breaking, I think the guys with the 2010's have been using the 2009 primary spring for a fix.

Check the oil pump to see if it is sticking, the is a good thread about it on here.

Also check out the Diamond Drive bearing failure thread.
