Wow the sled was almost 1/2 price, to what they wanted here? Drove 18 hours return $320 for gas,$210 riv and inspection. no problems at all at the border( but i did come through at 11pm at night if that matters?] my only regret now is i should how bought 2! Hope it will be a good sled. Unless things change i for one will never buy in canada again!

Congrats..i'll be doing the same.Did you have to pay duty or just gst/pst?
I already talked to my local Yamaha dealer here in Saskatchewan about this. Told him if I showed up with a Nytro, not to be alarmed. He told me to go right ahead and he'd be doing the same thing. I'd eat a grand to buy at home, but we're talking a MAJOR spread in pricing right now.

full warranty but u have to bring it back to states! 40th Anniversary, they wanted 13,699 here. got it home for $8100 with zero miles on the sled!

Lots of canadian dealers sellin them for 10600...you just have to look around.
Not sure what the rebates are but last year they were over a 1000 bucks....so then its gettin to close to call....depends how far you got to go. When I bought mine it was like 1200 bucks cheaper to go south. Wasnt really worth it for that much....time, fuel, warranty and I dealt local.
