Hate to say this but last night it was snowing those snow granules or pellets. On top of all that fluff that can't be good. Just adding a heavier layer on top of a very unstable pack. My temp says 32 degrees right now by G.C. 7am.

NWAC forecast says stay out of back country today or at least away from any slope that can slide. Backcountry travel most likely will be difficult due to deep snow. Natural avalanches likely, possibly fracturing all the way down to the mid january layers.
