porcupine, not to often you see those on the snow.
I have rode deep powder with the intake. It works awesome

Reason I ask is because I have mine in front of the handle bars and if the snow is flying onto it, it likes to freeze up and I loose most of my power

I thought about doing it in front of the handle bars also but I was concerned with the amount of heat coming out of the hole in front of the handle bars I could see it melting the snow when it hits the filter pod instantly and then freezing in the filter mesh so I chose this location instead. I also was watching the latest boondockers movie and they all have the same filter in the simular location on their pro's and in the movie they had insane amounts of over the hood powder and they never seemed to have any issues with it.
