Just a controller?

Does any one put just a fuel controller on a stock sled? Is there any power to be gained? I would imagine it would b a better map then the stock one.

I put a controller on all my sleds along with an A/f gauge. But Polaris has pretty lean settings from factory . If your racing or trying to run your sled on the edge I would install a controller

Fuel Controller

I have installed the PCV along with their display gauge on 12 and 13 Pro RMKs and found that the stock mapping is very lean in several spots. The 13 is especially lean fron 5750 to 6750 at lower throttle openings. The top end can also be improved a little with a couple more percent at 80% and 100% throttle openings. The big difference is in response and driveability. At 6000-8000 ft, a simple change to the driven, the red/black 140-240 spring will make a surprising difference to the performance of the sled with the proper fueling.

Well I was hoping for some hidden power, what is the best way to gain 10 hp. These sleds are sweet just need little more power. I wanna really whoop on buddy's xm but appear stock!

RKT drop in kit with the cheater head, will get you where you want to be. and if you have a 11/12 pro no controller needed.

That sounds pretty good, 13 pros are different hu? How much power increase does he claim on this? Used to have a 06 skidoo with his drop in kit and holy **** that thing ran good

the 13 have alot leaner fuel mapping so you have to run a fuel controller. estimations of 13 to 15 hp increase.

Im going to try slp pipe, intake and a power commander, and once i get some miles on it a rk tek drop in, if i have the cash the big bore, friends of mine just did the drop in on a 2011 163 with a boondocker box and bmp pipes, and one has a stock 2013 163. the 2011 couldnt quite keep up with the 2013 so we will see how the 2011 does with the drop it this year. Another did the rk tek big bore and he has a slp pipe and power commander on a 174 2013. So they can be the guinnny pigs on their 13s and ill see which way i want to go later next summer on my 14.

But if you dont want to tear into the motor the slp pipe and chip sounds promising.
