June 4wheeling....or Snowmobiling?

How much snow do you guys think is still gonna be around the first weekend in june? Up north there will be quite a bit still but we have a 4 wheelin trip planned...wonder if we better bring the sleds too?

after this last weekend I would say f*ck the atvs and bring the sleds

Last year at this time we had (according to snotel) something like 65" of base.
We rode till the weekend before memorial day.
This year we have a 98" base.
Unless we get huge temps, I am thinking the first weekend of june will be good for 7-11 riding.

Well, 3-4 years ago when the snow wasn't nearly so deep during the winter, I took the ATV's up in the 3rd week of June. I'll never do that again! Couldn't ride north of 130 because of snowdrifts. South of 130 was passable but up high near V trail there were still quite a few trails drifted shut.

Unless they have a huge meltdown, take the sleds or plan on riding south of 130.

We went last july but never got north enough to find too much snow. The only place we saw any was at cinnibar park but that drifts in pretty bad....im sure its HUGE this year.

where do you guys unload when you ride that late into the season?

Greenrock.
They open the road over the top on memorial day so you can drive over and park at some of the pull outs.
