So we went up to Fairview again Sunday. Snow is still deep and you can still go down any south face, south of the parking lot for at least a few more days. By next weekend you will have to choose which way you go down a south face but should still be doable. If you are planing a dirt trip out Skyline South you will still have a month or more before you can take that road on a wheeled vehicle. That first corner will be snowcovered into august at this rate. Cornices are breaking and snow chunks are pretty big. We made it just beyond race bowl before we decided to head back home. Could have gone farther but with just two of us we decided not to risk it. Snow is melting fast but for June 12th it is still awesome to be riding this late in the year.
