OK, in the third picture behind the sign that sure looks a BEAR, obviously not must be a dog, but what kind? Good for you to find snow 10 months out of the year, last time I did that was in '99. Won't be long and you can do it all over again.

LOL. Cool.

We could have done that two years ago up at HooDoo pass. We went up on June 30th to scout. We would only have had a couple hundy yards to ride on, but we surely could have laid claim to a July ride. I wish we would have.

BTW, I caught that black animal too. I was thinking it looked like a wolf, but obviously it's either a burnt log or a dog. LOL

the retarted long haired shepard?? ignore him, hes about as safe as it gets!! hes to dumb to hurt anything, but he will scare the crap out of you!! he makes some interesting noises.

it was a pretty silly adventure, but heck, and adventure non the less.

and I keep shutting my computer off like a minute before my video finishes uploading.. os I will try again!

That is sweet:D:beer; I would love to be able to say I went sledding in July.... hopefully one of these years it will work out...

How much dirt did you have to eat till you found snow?
maybe 1/4 mile... but its my old sled.. that thing ride a LOT of dirt... I would have been able to drive right to it, but they lock the gate until the drift melts so people dont try to drive to the lookout and fall off the side of the mountain.

awesome pics!!!

Can you rent that lookout and camp there? Looks like a nice place to spend some time.

yep, they open to rent it in about a week so ALL the snow is gone by then, there are lots of cool hiking trails and AWSOME sleding right near it... just at the right time of year of course!!

I heard Silvertip had pictures of Sonora Pass on 4th of July, but I can't find them anywhere.
