Well, I joined the ranks of the unfortunate ones who have stabbed their track. The one positive of the whole deal was that I was going really slow and it didn't really tear it all the way through so I was able to limp it out. The big negative is that I am now down.

If anyone close has a track that they are willing to part with for cheap let me know. I am just looking for any kind of track that is serviceable until I can get something in the summer. I am running a 162 if anyone has one.

I had never heard of anyone that had stabbed their track on an N/A sled so I wasn't to worried about it. So for all of you thinking as I was think again!

bad luck

i think i got one but missing alot of clips and its cut down my bad luck was driving to monte cristo last night hit a big bulge in the road trailer bounced along with the sled was tied down from rear bumper to deck force of it bent the tunnel extension and new bumper down three inches

That is a bummer. There are some pretty mean bumps this year right before you get up to the parking lot.

Let me know what you have. I can deal with missing clips

cheap er than track

anti stab kit from big boys 79 bucks in stock i put one on with new suspension i read alot of post i think you said you never had any problems

No I have a cat skid in it. The more I have been looking it over I think that it was my fault. I found that the track is pretty loose on it right now. I think that is what allowed the rail to stab the track. I am not really sure what happened with the tension. I have only ridden it twice since I set the track tension and I set it pretty tight. I have read about people running the anti stab kits but it seemed like everyone was boosted that had one. The other reason I did not worry about it was the fact that I ran the skid for about 500 miles last year and there was absolutely no wear on the rail tips when I had it apart this summer.
