My buddy and I just bought two kits from Allen at Timbersled. A big shout out to him for his design efforts!

We've been contemplating it for a while and just decided to make the plunge :) After reading some of the posts on this site and watching a countless number of youtube videos we figured we had to try it.

Most of our riding will be off trail in Michigan, and we try to take one or two trips out west every year. Right now we both have 2011 KTM 350 SX-F bikes. I'm thinking they will be a little under powered, but I'm hoping they will work. From the sounds of it we will be WFO most of the time whether it's a 350 or a 450....

Looking forward to a sick winter!! :whoo:

I rode quite a bit with a 350 this past season and he didn't have any problem getting around, I was quite impressed with how well it did.

That's good to hear. I've been nervous about the 350. Actually I've been shopping for a 450 or 500, but I would prefer to keep the 350 since I love the bike on dirt.....

you wont ride it as hard as u think rpm wise

Tailgunner- That's an interesting comment. Can you expand on that please? Are you saying this because we wont ride very fast because it's too dangerous, or because we don't necessarily need to be wide open to get around??

We rode with a big group last night and my KTM 350 hung with a Suzuki 450 off the line and rolling starts, so I was proud of my Orange lil' girl :)

Hah! Looking great!

Now you have to deal with looking at them in the garage all summer and waiting the LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG wait to ride them. Thankfully I picked mine up in November last year!

Yeah, I know :( I'm sure it will be worth the wait. Until then, we'll be throwing dirt and hanging on the boat. I'm sure we'll drink a lot of beer standing around these kits as well :)

I just booked our 1st trip to Rabbit Ears on Dec 12th.....!!
