Johnson Creek / Orr creek any reports ?

In order to go to oar creek, you have to take a right at the store in Randle and follow it back over the Cispis. Johnsons Creek is just before you get into Pac-Wood off of the highway! Rode it for the first time this year a couple weeks ago and it was beautiful road riding, nobody else there. You can ride from Johnsons over to Oar Creek! As for play areas, we never made it off of the main roads, but I think it will have potential! There was about 3 feet of fresh on the roads so couldnt imagine what it will be like now! Have a good friend who has a cabin in Packwood who knows the area pretty good, let me know if you want more information and Ill give you his contact info! He rides just about every weekend there.

Thanks Boss, for the info, but alas, while getting the sleds ready this weekend, I ran into a snag. :(

My Ski-Doo won't start and I posted a thread over on the Doo forum for some help. Here.

Got my "other" sled running no problem, it's a 4-stroke. hehe

Rode there yesterday for the first time. The road was plowed 3/4 of the way to the park, barley had enough room to turn around and park at the bottom. Snow was stupid deep. Epic riding conditions, nice dry fluffy snow everywhere. On the way down, we saw the plows up and running. Guy said he spent from 7pm to 5am the day prior plowing and ran out of diesel. Should be all plowed out by now.

If you are looking for some great backcountry, from Randle head south on the 25 road (about 20 miles) to Wakepish sno-park. Once at the park you can go south on the groomed trail for some nice trail riding. Or you can go west on the 99 road (not groomed) for some steep & deep riding. You will also find some great boondocking. You will know when you are there as it leads right into the blast zone, no trees. Just watch for avies as this place is just full of snow.

Skate creek info

Been riding there a lot through the years, get a topo map and mark the wilderness and go have fun, or send me a pm and ill take you to some nice riding, yes there are roads if you are into that. Us not so much.
we are planning a camping trip to an old guard station but that is not for everybody, (too small a place). Good luck.
